Zhao Luping, born in Qingdao, Shandong Province,doctor. In 1997, she was admitted to the school of journalism, FudanUniversity, majoring in broadcasting and television journalism. In 2001, shewas directly promoted to a postgraduate majoring in journalism. In 2004, sheobtained the qualification of an MD-PhD. In 2007, she obtained the doctor'sdegree in communication. In 2013, she was supported by the visiting scholarprogram of the China Schorlarship Council to study in Annenberg School ofcommunication, University of Pennsylvania in the United States for one year. In2015, she went to Oxford in the United Kingdom to study professional English.Currently, she is an associate professor of Journalism Department of school ofcommunication, director of Wisdom and Creative Media Laboratory, and wasselected into Shanghai Pujiang talent plan in 2015.

 

Research interests include crisis communication,network public opinion, data news, etc. In related fields, she has successivelypresided over 8 major projects including National Social Science youthprojects, Ministry of Education Humanities and social science youth projects,key commissioned projects entrusted by Shanghai Municipal Development andReform Commission , key commissioned projects entrusted by Shanghai MunicipalPropaganda Department, Shanghai party development key projects, East ChinaNormal University teaching reform research projects, and participated in morethan 10 national and provincial level projects such as National Social Sciencemajor projects. She has published 1 monograph, 1 translation and 2 textbooks.She has published more than 20 academic papers, and 5 consultation reports wereadopted by Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai MunicipalPropaganda Department and other departments. She was awarded all-round goodstudents, outstanding graduates of Fudan University, outstanding teaching teammembers of the "poverty alleviation relay program" of the CentralCommittee of the Communist Youth League, outstanding teachers of East ChinaNormal University, outstanding undergraduate tutors, and the new media ofbroadcasting and entertainment.
