影片分四个部分，工厂、青年、故乡和日记。“工厂”部分是以凝视的方式观看工人的一天。进入“青年”则是一些碎片，男青年沉浸在各种游戏的快感与对未来的不确定，女青年抱怨着不可触摸的爱情，而已经结婚的女人们则面临着要不要孩子的苦恼，从对命运的茫然到对命运的无奈，工厂青年们似乎生活在某种“天注定”中。而“故乡”已经成为他们拍照的背景，传统的淳朴正在消失，清澈的河流其实漂满了污染物，他们是故乡的“游客”，是土地的“游魂”。真正触及内心的是将工厂青年变成我们自己，“日记”的部分记录着崩溃与炼狱般的折磨，我们每个人都身处在无处可逃的空间之中，甚至自杀也未必不是一种解脱。
The film is divided into four parts separately on Factory, Young Staffs,Countrysides and Dairy. "Factory" marks a day of those workers bymeans of staring. And there are different pieces such as men with the drowningexcitement on games and uncertainty toward their future, ladies with complaintsabout the reachless truelove and the married madams with dilemma ofprocreation, puzzled and even helpless. It seems that the youth in factory havesomething to do with so-called "fate". Moreover,"Countryside" has become the site where they only take pictures forwith the fading tradition and the polluted rivers, they come to be tourists orlike wandering soul in this land. After that, what really touches is when wetry to regard ourselves as the young factory workers. Breakdowns andexcruciating sufferings in "Dairy" suggest when we are trappedin a totally airproof situation, it is understandable to solve problemspermanently by suicide.
